My father fell and fractured his hip in September 2023 and underwent hip surgery at Hackensack Meridian Health at RBMC. He recovered at another local long-term care facility and was promptly returned home to me. In October 2023, I toured Spring Creek as it was becoming more difficult to care for him at home and he was admitted in December. Prior to his fall, my dad was independent at home and not on any prescribed medications. I was hesitant to place him at Spring Creek because I did not want to be away from him, but the dementia and fall prompted me to explore a safe and supervised homelike environment like the “Mi Hogar” unit at Spring Creek which has Spanish speaking staff, Spanish speaking physicians, Spanish meals, Spanish periodicals, Spanish TV channels, and Spanish activities.This was one of the best decisions I ever made! First of all, Mr. Kurland, thank you for coming to beautiful Perth Amboy and investing in our community, bringing jobs to Perth Amboy and bringing world class subacute rehabilitation and long-term care to the residents of Perth Amboy and neighboring communities.

My mother has experienced firsthand what quality rehabilitation care is all about at Spring Creek. Almost a month ago now, my mother sustained a fractured knee from a fall. She was operated on at Hackensack Meridian Health at the Perth Amboy campus.

As a resident of Perth Amboy, post operatively we quickly scrambled to find a great place for mom so that she can rehabilitate and quickly come back home where she belongs. I contacted a good friend, Dr. Jorge Gonzalez Gomez who is your Director of the Hispanic Program “Mi Hogar” who quickly mobilized the Spring Creek HCC team to come to our aid. The team at Spring Creek rolled out the red carpet and within 24 hours, everything was arranged to welcome my mother.

While at your facility, the around the clock staff of nurses and aids met every expectation of my mother and family. The rehabilitation staff worked her out intensely and often twice a day. The dietary staff provided great Spanish meals.

My mother was successfully discharged from your world class facility in about two weeks’ time. Today she is getting around well and with God help, we anticipate a full recovery.

I want to thank all the staff for their care, Sam Atlas the Administrator for looking out for mom, Judah Orbach the Regional Administrator for contacting me constantly to make sure our needs were always met.

I am proud that Spring Creek HCC is in Perth Amboy and a place I would recommend to anyone!

Great stay here at spring creek, staff is very respectable and caring. Rehab has been exceptionally great and professional. Nurses, aids and staff follow all protocols for a safe facility. Will recommend to everyone.

I was here for rehab. My experience with rehab and my occupational and physical therapist was out of this world. I love these guys Tony and D Shawn, always had an encouraging word they were very patient and understanding with me. I wish they had outpatient services here so I could continue my rehab with my two guys after discharged. They are an asset to this department.❤️❤️❤️

I was greeted at reception by a very friendly and helpful individual. After signing in I had to wait for 15 minutes to see my mom, because my daughter was with me and we were allowed 15 minutes each. I sat in a very clean and welcoming waiting area and watched as other visitors were treated with the same curtesy as I was.
When I finally went to my mom’s room the atmosphere was crisp and clean and my mom looked well cared for.. I was very impressed!
